Karine
An AI companion for relationships
Why we built this
It's hard to be objective inside your own situation. When a relationship is in a storm, it's easy to make things worse — not for lack of intelligence, but because anxiety sets its own priorities and blocks the full picture.
In moments like that, you don't need another generic tip from the internet. You need someone next to you who can separate facts from anxiety, look at the situation from the outside, and not judge.
Karine isn't an "AI psychologist" in the clinical sense. It's a relationship companion: a tool built by two real people with different kinds of experience, not a faceless algorithm. We believe people don't need one-size-fits-all advice — they need a thoughtful look at their own, specific situation.
Who makes Karine
Alexander Filippov
Founder and technical architect of the project. Responsible for the product, prompt engineering, and how Karine works under the hood.
Mila Filippova
Psychologist and consultant, author of the Karine blog. Sets the topics for articles and is responsible for their psychological accuracy.
How we work with content
Every article is grounded in sources — research, books by recognized specialists, clinical guidelines. The reading list is at the end of each piece.
We keep three things apart: what the evidence base says, what Mila's clinical experience says, and what is Alexander's experience building the tool. And we're upfront about where self-help ends and seeing a specialist in person begins.
- Every claim about psychology and therapy is backed by a source
- Articles are updated as new evidence appears (the update date is shown)
- This content is not medical advice — it's educational material
- Crisis-related topics always include contacts for real help
